TORONTO COUNCIL FIRE DVD PROJECT
produced by Ralph Brown
In a reversal of history, an Aboriginal group travels to 1812 England and sets up a residential schoo system. The morality story is told through a play in progress which follows an irreverent animated voyage to the new land. The poignant video tale is inter-cut with accounts from residential school survivors.

Produced in 2005 and premiered at Toronto's St.Lawrence Centre's Jane Mallet Theatre, the work is still very relevant particulaly as we approach 2012.

Copies of the DVD are still available and are ideal for school libraries, Frienship Centres and other organizations that offer cultural education and awareness programs.

DVDs are $20 ea. + shipping and handling. Please contact Denise Toulouse at 416.360.4350 ext. 233
